Seit 1994 arbeitet die gelernte Objektdesignerin & Musikerin Sonja Mischor in unterschiedlichen Projekten im Bereich Kunst, experimentelle Musik, Klassik, Chanson, songwriting, elektronische Musik oder auch Jazz & Blues als Sängerin & Flötistin. Seit 2019 arbeitet sie als Dozentin für Gesang, Querflöte und Ukulele an der Musikschule Mufab in Aachen
Außergewöhnliche Instrumente, Kompositionen jenseits üblicher Liedstrukturen, freie Improvisation statt starrem Korsett: Sonja Mischor ist eine Musikerin, die sich in ihrem Schaffen nicht von Grenzen oder Konventionen einzäunen lässt.
Diese Art des Arbeitens findet sich auch in ihren Bildarbeiten, Videos und Collagen wieder. Im Vordergrund stehen immer das Experiment und die Komposition.
In ihren Performances laufen all die Ausdrucksformen zusammen, die sie im Laufe der Jahre für sich entdeckt hat. Sie komponiert und produziert nicht nur die Musik, sie entwirft und schneidert auch die Kostüme, gießt kleine Geschichten in poetische Texte und ersinnt die Choreographien.

Sonja Mischor has been working as a singer and flutist for various projects in art, experimental music, classical music, chanson, songwriting, electronic music, as well as jazz & blues since 1994.
Exceptional instruments, compositions beyond usual song structures, free improvisation instead of a rigid corset: Sonja Mischor is a musician who does not allow herself to be bounded by boundaries or conventions in her work.
This kind of work is also reflected in her pictures, videos and collages. The focus is always on the experiment and the composition.
In her performances all the forms of expression, which she has discovered over the years, come together. She composes and produces not only the music, she also designs and tailor the costumes, pours little stories into poetic texts and creates the choreographies. Since 2019 she works as a teacher for singing, flute and ukulele at the music school Mufab in Aachen, Germany
